and since it’s Christmas for the love of god don’t get a telescope from a shopping mall.We amateur astronomers like referring to these scopes as: Christmas Telescopes worth a penny or two!

Go get your self an economic dobsonian neutonian telescope made by Skywatcher or Orion for 300$ or so with a big aperture of at least 6 inches and you are good to go! Who said that low budget cannot get you in the field of amateur astronomy? Enjoy, share the info and clear nights for you!

Not everyone is after massive x . Some are just happy looking at the moon and planets, the cheap telescopes manage this no problem at all, so it doesn´t have to be expensive. You can even make your own, google it!!!

I bought a broken cheap newtonian telescope from a car boot sale for 20 €. Spent about 20 more getting bits and bobs to fix it up and now it works like a dream.

A great little starter scope is the Skywatcher Startravel 102 refractor. Good performance for the money and very well made.

i can use 360 easy on my 8 inch every night and on the worst nights just over 300. dont always listen to “experts” listen to people who actually use them every night.

I currently owns a 4.5 inch telescope but I got bored with it. I no longer used them and haven’t used them for years. Right now, I’m thinking about buying a dobs 14 inch by Orion SkyQuest. I never seen through them. Is it much better and will it make me bored?
